Good evening, Friends!

About half a year ago I had a leak and noticed my 3rd brake light was leaking into the Cab.

Fast forward I'm now seeing this. Not close to the 3rd brake light, really looks like it's coming from the rear window seal.

This is on my 2015 Ram Express single Cab. Anyone else ever come across this issue?

Thank you.

Probably still coming from the 3rd brake light and migating over to that area.My regular cab stained the headliner in that area and it was from the 3rd brake light leaking, once i resealed the brake light,i never had any more staining.

My 3rd brake light did the same thing, except on the driver's side.

Do you have a sun roof?
I got some streaks coming down the back window. I can't confirm if coming from my window or the brake light at this point. I've heard people with back window issues also. Just not sure how to figure this one out.

A bit of a task yes, but remove the headliner altogether and do the water test (hose out and soak the roof/windows, etc., until you find the water coming in.

The third brake light is notorious for having a crappy OE gasket that results in leakage.

Given that it only has 2 screws holding it in place and requires about 3 minutes to remove and inspect, I would start there before worrying about the window frame.

You can also inspect inside the opening of the cab roof with a good LED flashlight, after removing the third brake light. You may be able to see the point of ingress. Throw a blanket on the roof and over your head, if daylight is impairing your view.

Search the threads, and you will likely find many reports from members who have successfully replaced the gasket with inexpensive weatherstripping from Home Depot.

Do as @RamDiver says reseal the brake light first, and go from there.Last resort would be to pull the headliner,do the easy stuff first.

The lens seems to warp causing the gasket to leak. I replaced with a new MOPAR unit. Someone on the forum, I believe Wild one, said to replace the incandescent bulbs with LED and I did and haven’t had a problem since

The LED cargo lights I added to the third brake light on my Warlock are insanely bright.
I can park in my laneway and see the keyhole on the front door at night, besides nearly read a book while sitting in the truck bed.

I'm pleased that I didn't waste time upgrading the OE LED bed lights in my truck.
