LED tail lights

Replaced the tail lights on my 2009 Ram 1500 with after market LED lights over the weekend. Now I have a "message" warning on the dash that both R & L rear turn signal lights are out - but they are not. Plus, I get that annoying fast click-click-click sound when I use the turn signal. Is there a way to reset this warning message so I don't hear that annoying sound and read that message every time I start my rig and use my turn signals? What did I do wrong?? Please help!!

Sounds like you need a new signal relay for LED's or resistors inline. LED's have so little resistance that the system thinks they're not there.

Yes you need an inline resistor. Pretty sure they make a plug n play set up to correct the hyper blinking.
New vehicles are getting far too advanced and hard to modify. I can't stand it.

It'd be the same if you put LED's on a 1960 vehicle.

Yes, but you can buy a $14 electronic flasher for a older vehicle that plugs in.

You need 2 50w 6ohm resistors. You can get them from the retroshop.us. I didn't find them listed by themselves on the site, but if you send them an e-mail I'm sure they can take care of that for you.
