LED tails

hey guys has anyone had any luck with the ebay led tail lights and what ones to stay away from... my tails have seen their better days corroded connecters and leaks no matter how many times i seal them with rtv and the tint keeps wearing off... i would love a set of recons but not wanting to spend the 300 on them

Can't give any advice on which tail lights to stay away from... but I have Recon everything on my truck and have nothing bad to say. Maybe you can find some Recon's on ebay???

I bought my tails of eBay and they turned out great! I actually have friends complain when they follow me that my brakes are to bright!

I had I believe spyder LED tails
One stopped working, the spot where they screws go in broke on both of them to the point one actually fell out driving down the road

I bought mine already smoked off ebay, the outer lens is smooth, the inside is smoked instead. Best pic I have

I had a set of Recons I got on eBay for around $200 I think. I loved them. They held up great and the smoked look was awesome on my Mineral Grey truck.

I have the Sonar ones and really like them. They are super bright. They do have a small gap inbetween them and the bed side, but other than that I really like them.

Well atleast im not soo turned off by the ebay tails now thanks guys ill keep lookin for recons online but for now looks like the ebay blacked out leds r the way im headed

Stay away from the Spyder units. I have a set of Sonars I put on my SRT 5 years ago and they are still in excellent shape.

A set of Hellas with the CHMSL is due in any moment for the Ram.

I almost went with those hellas when I had my 08 - but they stuck out from the truck.....kinda turned me off on em

those look like the same lights that im lookin at... i cant wait to get them.... soo sick of having a burned out back up light bulb sockets... then will tint them black like my stock ones and bam great tinted led tails
