Seems I've read about this a dozen times. Some have success using the AlphaOBD set up to change the headlights to "HID". Might give that a try.

Got it. Free and easy to try the HID setting though it may not correct your truck's confusion with the tail assemblies. Good luck and let us know.

There are several rear LED tail lamp settings in AlfaOBD for LED - you'll have to enable them all - I also believe the 2015 is the most finicky year for resistors on lighting et

ok after ordering different tails and some OEM sockets im still getting the parking light out warning ( when lights are on and brake is pressed only ) i have everything set to led in Alpha ( i think ) and help or suggestions would be wonderful ( i can reinstall oem tails and have no issues so in the leds for some reason also new set of tails use oem reverse lights thought i would take one possible issue outta the equation )

so after new sockets and about 30 minutes and clearing codes seems my issue is fixed for now will let everyone know in a day or 2

So you ended up changing the sockets and LED settings and that fixed it? I am having same issue.

Also having this issue, would love to know what OP did exactly.

(Meaning, non-CAN bus friendly LED's in the rear tail/turn signal, with 6 ohm/50W resistors. Works fine until headlights are on, when it's dark I get a turn signal out error but no hyper-flash, every time I brake)
