I want to install a small LED strip today back in that area where the arrow is.

At night I can't see a darn thing down there so I picked up some small red led strips to light up the area. I'd like that strip to come on with the parking lights, so how could I wire them to come on like that?

Thanks

Figure out which wire is the parking light on the back of the headlight switch and tap into that. I know on mine it was an orange wire.

You could also use the illumination wire to the radio.

Got it thanks guys! But which one would be easier to access... I was thinking the parking light wire?

To get to the parking light the best way to access it would be through here I'm guessing?

If so, how do you get that thing off? Pry it?

Yes. That would be one way. And yes. It just pries off. Idk how skinny you are. But I was able to reach up under the dash and pop the switch out from behind without removing anything. And then tap into it that way.

Thanks man! I stuck my hand in there and unclipped it lol...cut and spiced the wires, tied the excess back, and done!
