Let’s see some bull bars!! I’m interested in black mostly

Hi folks!

I have an express and want to get a black bull bar. I need one that won’t obstruct my plate and one that is black. I also would like something that stands up to winter as it can be bad around here. Like this month for example LOL.

I have the westin contour on mine. Just hides the top portion of the plate. Weston does sell a plate adapter that bolts onto the bottom bar. I have it but refuse to put it on until I get pulled over

OK. I remember looking for one for my 2007 & 2014 but nothing was available that didn't require I cut slots into the lower air dam plus there were interference issues if you had the urethane vs. steel bumpers on the 4th gen trucks.

I wanted lights so went with an NFab lightbar which mounted at the tow hook location.

I hear ya about the plate. Also, on these plastic bumpers I’m scared to see what’s behind the plate holder ha ha. I wouldn’t want the relocation bracket either

Yeah I was a little perturbed when I pulled my plate bracket off. They just sent the screws straight into the plastic, not really any other way to do it but it sucked that I had two nasty screw holes in the bumper. The plate is mounted on the plates bottom holes to raise it up a bit so itnisnt hidden as much

They are lights that came on the grill. It was an eBay "ford raptor" style grill. They had both Amber and white light options

Always liked the look of bull bars, but was never a fan of how they all seemed to mount below the bumper.
When I got my bull bar (was a gift from my wife), I incorporated the bull bar mounts into the custom winch mount I was working on.

The juries still out on this. Installed it today and don't really know if I like the looks or not. What sold me was the fold down step I can use for under the hood work. Please reply with opinions.

Did it come with the RAM emblem? I want one, but want the RAM in center like you have. I haven't seen any with the RAM in center and been hard finding the white led ones.
