As some of you know, my dad needed 6,000 lbs/3 yards of soil. So we took my truck out and did it in 2 trips. The truck handled perfectly!

The first trip was great, no issues... the truck definitely sagged some, but I still averaged around 13mpgs!



Here are a couple shots of them filling up the truck the 2nd trip




And of course it started downpouring on the way home the second time, so we had to wait it out a bit

heres my 2011 loaded up with my 14ft enclosed sled trailer, with 3 sleds loaded in it. and all gear in the truck headed on a 3 day trip to northern NB. put on 1600km in 3 days on the sleds... was a wicked trip! MPG was 8.3 for the trip in the truck.

I thought the same thing when I saw one a few years ago and my friend told me about them

LOL. They use properly equipped box vans/trucks around here for that.

Wife only put this one up on her fb. Just picked this 5th wheel up the day before the memorial weekend started. 12,158lbs dry weight. 1,900 pin weight. And I still get 11.8mpg pulling it. LOL




I'll put up a couple better ones later. It's hooked, just not more than 1/2 "down" and loaded yet.

Got a Curt 20k manual slider and man is that thing nice! Easy to hook up, much easier than a tow-behind type trailer. Planning on a set of AirLift bags in the spring to give the truck a little boost in the rear.

It's not too heavy, just that it takes the headlights up high enough I can't pull at night, and I'd wanna be able to in emergencies or whatnot.
