Let's talk about that overhead console

Got a 2019 Classic, so I guess should be exactly like previous years. I popped it off to tap wire for my dashcam. The metal clips shifted around a bit, I stuck em back in place and snapped it back up and now I have a slight sag on the drivers side. It olds tight, I just took the truck on a 2500 mile camper pull, I don't think it is going anywhere. And my wife didn't notice it until I pointed it out.
Do I have to buy new clips or something?

Same problem with my 18 I just popped them out and apart bent them back and popped it back in nice and tight

Did they kind of look like they shifted sideways a bit?

I went the other direction, bent the middle a little flatter so I could pop out easier next time.
Like said, just bend the middle out some to have the clips hold tighter.
Clips are kept centered on the posts b/c of its raised edges.

Yup just bend them back and reposition them. They a little playing will get them perfect

Good idea, mine was so hard to remove I thought I was gonna break something
