How hard is it to do the leveling and body lift on the Dodges? I had a shop quote me $1000 for the leveling and body lift. I was looking to do the PA 5". I guess this includes the leveling with the 3 in body lift. I was wondering if I need to do the billistein 5100 or what I should do if I go that route. Kinda open to any suggestion.

Thats a good price if parts and labour is all included?

You dont need bilsteins to level it but its the most popular way around here, theres many other options, but id recommend (if you want to keep it cheaper) is the Hellbent steel levelling kit.

PA doesnt offer a 5" body lift as far as i know? most ive ever heard of is 3" but if you put a level ontop of the 3" body lift, it would equal to 5"

The OP said it was a level, and BL.

As far as the spacer, or the Bilsteins a lot of guys like the Bilsteins for the improved ride over stock, but the spacer is a cheaper, and easier install. Although the Bilsteins are not that much more work to install.

I did a spacer, and am super happy, and realistically, I would guess that the Bilsteins provide the "lift" in the same way as a spacer, it is just internal to the shock body, so no real difference there.

One advantage though is if you do the Bilsteins, and end up not quite liking the rake you end up with you can do a quick teardown, and adjust to a lower, or higher level later.

Trucks at 40k and im sure the shocks havent been changed. I was thinking on the route you was jlb that I could adjust it as needed. The price over all for everthing was 1700... A $1000 was just for labor its self.

Bilstein makes a full set of four.

But you will need an alignment after any adjustments you make, and some tear down is required.

Just things to keep in mind.

As far as ride quality goes I did HBS 2.5" level kit and 3" PA body lift and with stock tires the ride was equal to stock. When I added the wheels and tires is when I noticed the ride quality really stiffend up . This is on Nitto Terra Grapplers , so I would think if you go with a mud tire it would be even worse, that being said the new look is well worth the stiffer ride.
