New here but picked up my '14 Ecodiesel 2 WD last weekend.

I have already talked with Sean over at Maxtrac and the items in question below would work.

As of now I have the 17" factory wheels and would like to in any event upgrade to 20x9 with 275/60-20 in an A/T tire and possibly a little wider 65/70. My end goal here is to level the truck keeping the factory ride quality and geometry the same.

For raising it, I was recommended the 4.5" spindle for the front with the 1.5" rear spacers with longer shocks.

For lowering it, the recommendation was the 3" rear drop coil.

I have never had a raised or lowered truck for that matter. I have always left them stock. My vehicles are used for daily driving to work and home 60 miles round trip, lengthy road trips (10+ hrs), and occasional hunting and fishing / boating (small john boat). Very little off-road unless I go hunting but nothing crazy.

Anyhow, any recommendations or opinions? :emotions33:

Thanks for the help
Justin

I would level it but the best way to decide would be to look at pic of others leveled and lowered and see what you like best. You already got a ram so can't go wrong either way.

Lift it bro. If you use it like a truck, then dont lower it like a car :)

If you want to keep the factory ride then I DEF recommend the 4.5" lift spindles. I love mine and they keep the amazing factory ride!

Thanks for the comments. I definitely use it like a truck so I am set on lifting then. Still searching for pics, would like to see what a 4.5" lift looks like on a 2WD truck with A/T tires so I am sorting through all the picture threads right now.

Here is a pic of the new truck out on the gun range the day after I picked it up. Hope to have all this figured out and installed next month.
