I’ve been looking at thuren. I plan on turning this ***** over hahaha. No j/k. Sand/mud/overland/crawling. Thinking multi purpose. I don’t want to buy a new truck to beat it. So thinking a 3” lif+- and bigger tires. Tune obviously and gears the wife has decided she likes off-roading more than she did sooooo I’m forming a game planLots of people, you have a couple choices,
1) Spacer lvl kit.
2) Thuren/Carli spring lvl kit- “ Highly recommend”
3) bds/icon/rough country/superlift - Typical hight lift “ 4” inch up to 7” I believe.
4) “Mid travel kit”s” typically only like 2-4 inches high... but you gain wheel travel and two big names are Carli and Thuren. Obviously there are more out there, so what are you looking to do?
I don’t fit in an old jeep or toyota. I’ve seen plenty of off-road 2500.Buy an old Jeep or Tacoma to beat the **** out of, and use this to tow it there. A long wheelbase 2500 isn’t a great platform for off-roading

ok. Who’s running the ram 2500 limo lifted? And anybody actually off-road with it? I’m getting the itch again. A blank canvas as of right now

Looks good. I want to put some new parts underneath. I really want a pw but don’t wanna spend to get out of my truck...then pay to do more to a pw..... the. Have more lol. I can unhook sway bars so auto disconnect is no biggie. I have a read lsd so mainly need some better shocks n spring and a front locker yep this is gonna get outta hand quick lol35s. 2'' Leveling kit.
I sit as high as 2500HD Denalis/Silverados with 6'' lift or same as 1500 with 6'' lifts. Really no need to go any higher. Roof is at 80.5'' and my cab floor is 30''. While there is good ground clearance, 170'' wheelbase is just far a bit too long for heavy offroad use.
Mine is a 5.7 Hemi, and there is a noticeable drop in acceleration from the stop. MPG hasn't been hit much since I picked out lightest 35.

You take it off-road at all?2.5in Rough Country lift. I love it so far. Eventually I want to get something better but for now that’s it. I was tired of the stock wheels and wanted something a little more aggressive. The stance is nice with the -24 offset. And the tires are not too huge, close but no rubbing at all.
Wheels are 18x10 -24 offset
Tires 295/70

Not yet. Been busy with life.... work, kids, college, remodeling my house. Right now it’s just a pavement princess. Mostly just take it back and forth to Home Depot to get material for my remodel. You take it off-road at all?
