Bought 2024 RAM 2500 Crew cab 4x4

I just bought a 2024 RAM 2500 Crew cab, 4x4, 6'-4" bed, Big Horn, 6.4 Hemi, 8-spd, 3.73 gears.
This is an upgrade from my previous 2015 RAM 1500 Reg Cab (2-door), 2WD, 6'-4" bed, Tradesman 5.7 Hemi, 8-spd, 3.21 gears.

My 2015 RAM 1500 was decent at towing my race car & trailer (<8,000 lbs) at East coast elevations. I am looking forward to the improvement with the 2500 RAM. But it is a noticably longer truck in the parking lot & garage...

I sign papers on this beast Wed. Its a '22 2500 4x4 6.4L w/ 4.10 Gears. I have a jeep that Ill finally be able to haul with confidence.
The rates are crazy right, I got 8%! Im banking on them going down next year and I can be back where I want be doubling up on notes.

Are your running boards factory or after market? I have a new '24 2500 and am in the market for running boards and I like yours with the grips along the entire length from front to rear door. What brand and model are yours?

Those are Mopar or factory running boards. See the RAM logo on the ends. I have the same but not wheel well to wheel well. The longer boards as in the picture make it hard to tie down a truck camper. Mine stop at the back of the cab.

Guys, I was supposed to sign papers Wednesday on that truck. We kept going back and forth on the worth of my trade and the cost of their truck. At 4:30pm I was saying to them, "No, my truck is worth more than your offering." At 6:00pm, on my way home from work, I SMOKED a buck going 60mph. My entire grill, bumper, driver headlight, quarter panel, driver door, and passenger door are trash. It even crushed the rocker panel under my driver door, which is part of the cab, not an easy fix.
I have to laugh about it because all it really hurt was my ego. I told the dealership they dodged a bullet because if I would have signed it would be their truck, not mine, and I would have taken a more subtle sign not to buy their vehicle. Lol
I filed my claim yesterday and will more in the coming weeks. Ill probably drum up the damage to the body shop and try to get my truck totaled. I dont know yet...
Ive been looking for 2 months for a 2500 and literally the day, almost the HOUR that I plan to sign papers, I hit a freakin' deer.
