This is My 06 hemi I just bought about a month ago 1500 SLT crew cab 4x4 It's sitting on 275/65R20 falkens, came with a full 5th wheel tow package with aftermarket trailer brake controls and all integrated into the dash & flush mount trifold tonnoe for when I'm not towing only problem I'm having is figuring out the size of the lift it came with! That's my 4yr old son in the last pic for some reference to the hight it's about 4'8"(56") to the top of the bed & the body sits almost 2' off the pavement(about 22" all the way around) can anyone help me out???
Updated pics with 17" wheels and 35" tires.
Hey man, nice pics! Tire size looks perfect. What lift do you have? And, what gear ratio(s) do you have? I have 3.55 and was wondering how the 35's feel at highway speeds comparing to motor "umph".
Nice. Like I said I have 3.55s, but get about 14.25 city. Don't drive highway much. Only have 265s on currently though. Want to level and put 33s or 35s and spacers.
I actually have the 3.92 gears in the truck. It came stock with them which was surprising. I only have the 4.7 L motor but I still run about 1800 rpms at 70 mph on the highway, allowing me to get around 16.5 to 17 mpg. City is terrible though at about 10. Lol I have a cortex superchips tuner to correct the tire size and tune the truck so that helps a lot.
Not bad. I like that idea. I will however recommend that you stay away from spacers. I have seen too many break and what not and the result is ugly. If I were you I would just go for wider wheels or more offset.
Jeez! I have the 4.7 & 265s. My truck is at 2K RPMs at 60MPH. 2,500 at 70. I average 10city/11hwy babying the throttle and never going over 65ish. No idea what rear end gearing I have. Getting barely over 220 miles to a tank is what's keeping my from lifting & bigger tires.

How up to date on maintenance are you? Does the 4.7 have apcv valve? I went from 12.5 to 14.25 avg city just by changing that alone.
I'm searching right now for how to find my current ratio. I'm dying to throw a BL & some 305s on but not if it makes my mileage worse than right now. My cruise doesn't work, after checking all vacuum & replacing the servo it still does that common cruise light on, then off thing.Dang man. I'd suggest changing that gear ratio I bet that is your issue. When I was stock tires and everything I got almost 19 mpg hwy and about 320 miles per tank, more if I stayed on cruise the whole way.
Haven't replaced the PCV valve, but all basic maintenance was done in February when I bought the truck (plugs, oil, trans fluid, filters). It does have 170k on the clock.

At this point I'm honestly watching copart for a local wrecked hemi truck to pick up for cheap so I can just swap it for better mpg/power...
Are you in the salvage yard business?

turns out I have 3.92s guess that explains the mpg partially. should I keep this gearing for going to 33s or 35's?
