Personally I see no real good reason/excuse for lifting a 2wd truck and fitting it with offroad tires. Just my opinion.

I agree with Dubl on this too. A lift as big as a 6 inch really wouldn't do you any good on a 2wd. If you doing it just for looks, maybe you should go a different route. Putting that big of a lift + properly fitting tires which would be around 36s, your truck would run a lot worse because of it being a 1500. You would bog down into your gears and driving on the highway would suck, being stuck in OD all the time. Maybe just look into a leveling kit. Or a small body lift, With 33s-35s

lifted 2wd are a little silly I think but to each his own

but on the note of 36 or 37s on a 1500 that's what I plan on installing when I wear out my 35s will it really be that bad with the a8 and 3.96 but I need to comfirm guearing cuz I may be a misprint and have 3.21

nothing wrong with lifting a 2wd truck. plenty of people have done it. 37's look pretty good on 22's but I don't know if they will fit.

6 inch suspension lift could fit 37s but it will be tight. Wheel spacers might help a little.
