Hey ya'll I bought a Grey 2005 Ram SLT Quad Cab Hemi 5.7L about a year ago and the tires are starting to go out. I was considering getting some clean 17" wheels and some 33" tires. My question is, would I need a lift or a leveling kit so my tires wont rub? I know absolutely nothing about lifts or anything like that so I figured I'd ask the pros.

Depending on the width of the tires and width and offset of the wheels it may rub

But the rams with 20s come with 33" tires from the factory so if you stay within similar specs of those then you'll be fine

Is it 2wd or 4wd?

This.... Knowing which one will help us help you.

And this if it's 4wd.
Wheel width and offset along with tire width will determin if you will rub, and where..
