RamFam,

I have a few questions and am hoping that someone has ventured here before. 6.5" lift is in the making for my 2014 2500 Cummins 6 speed manual. With the lift I plan on either rolling on 35s or 37s. Now with that, I was really kicking around the idea of swapping out my front and rear diffs. I have done a little bit of homework and looked into who makes pumpkins for the Rams.
My Questions:
How well does the 6.7s handle a 6"+ lift with the stock 3.43 rear?? Mileage?? Pulling?? Etc.
If changing the ratio, about what size is best for said lift and tires??

Here is what I was told but it seems to me like between 1800-1900RPM in 6th gear is a bit excessive. Seems like it'd be great for power and not so much for highway mileage. Am I wrong here??

From Just Differentials:
With the 6.5” lift, and running 37” tires with the 4.56 ratio your engine speeds is going to be between 1800 and 1900 rpm in 6th gear. If you have any more questions, please let me know and I will be glad to assist you.

I just want a better perspective on this before biting if its even worth it. I appreciate the input.
