So I'm the dummy and really wanna do a light bar behind my new one piece grill. It seems fairly straight forward but I really have no concept of working with electronics. Has anyone some a one piece long light bar behind the grill? I have a2012 lone star/big horn with the mesh grill. First anyone have a general idea of what size light bar would fit nice atleast most of the way across at the bottom of the grill? Mounting I don't think I'll have an issue it'd just getting the lights on a switch and safely wired up. Anyone got an dummy install our something, where I can take this a little more confident. I have been searching the hell out of the forums and Google, but like I said I'm the dummy, someone help me get it through my head lol. What light would be a good fit, curved or straight, length, what kind of harness would be simple and easy? Thanks guys.

Many light bars come with a complete harness and switch that make it dummy proof, just a positive and negative to connect, for length of light bar just pull out the measuring tape and measure where you want to mount

Thanks for the reply, I just ordered me a20 inch to go behind the grill with a harness, will be changing the switch though haha. Also I was looking at my bumper and was wondering has anyone put two small light bars on the sides of the bumper hole where the plastic is? I don't think the middle of mine would hold a bigger bar and I don't feel like messing with my plate on front. Anyone know how easy it is to wire two small bars together on a separate switch like that? Do they make a pre made harness for a set up like that?

Ya i have fogs, i like that thread and plan on trying the fog pods eventually. But I was thinking about two 4-6 inch single row pods in the bigger part of the plastic in the bumper hole. Was wondering how to either make my own harness to tie them together on a separate switch than the 20"bar I ordered. Any tips?
