Hey guys I looked for a bit and didn't find something exactly like what I'm going through. Although if there is a similar thread I apologize but I'm stuck. So had the etc ( lightning bolt) light come on my truck randomly one day a few days after jumping a very dead truck, my wife was driving it and parked next to me thinking it was just a throttle body mess up I told her to shut the truck off and wait a bit and restart to verify problem consisted. Well it cranked up just fine so silly me we drove it 20 minutes down the road from the house and boom shaka laka it came back.
Since I was familiar with the usual cause of the light I already had another throttle body coming.
Unfortunately that did bubkiss so I thought I would be a proper parts monkey and throw an accelerator pedal on it and the same scenario. After that failure I figured I would scan the codes and see what came up well found several codes almost everything on the same 5v reference line such as crank position sensor and etc issue and app sensor issue and a couple more. I'll post a picture of the readout from my scanner app. Well I go sniffing and found a section of the harness by the oil filter that was all bare wires. So I think I've got it I know where my issue is now. So I clean all bare wires and install heat shrink and a heat shrink butt connector to prevent them from rubbing amongst one another. Well I get it back together and my 5v on the reference line is back to normal and boom cranks up quick and smooth but I still have the lightning bolt and and now I have no throttle response I've tried going over everything I had apart and messed with and the parts I installed have no issues I have corresponding voltage on both the new pedal assembly and new(cheap) throttle body. And they both respond to movement both in volts and in resistance. My battery is pretty new and still cranking no problem I even put the old throttle body and pedal on and exact same thing so I need some guidance if the pcm is the next most logical step then I'll get one ordered but I don't want to waste money. Any help is greatly appreciated. Also I'll post some isolated codes I still have the readout of the several codes were the initial ones and the songlular pictures will be the ones that are still there.

Recheck all your splicing work since that made your throttle response non-existent. Since you swapped out the APPS and throttle body a few times, go back over all that as well. Make sure no bent pins exist and all harnesses are plugged in tightly.
