I know it’s not a Ram.....it’s my baby Ram lol...but I did this a few weeks ago after a lot of research!
I used raptor liner, I ordered off of amazon. I used 8 liters for the black, and 7 liters for the green. For the tintable stuff I just went to a local paint shop and bought the color I wanted (it came out ever so slightly lighter than what I was going for) I found out that sanding the bed sucks! And I am not the beat at taping lol but overall it was easy going just time consuming.
Weight added...maybe 5-10 lbs. I love how it no longer scratches, repels dents, and actually helps with sound deadening (I did wheel wells also) I did 3 coats of each color in some areas I went a little thicker for more protection.
Total cost was right at 700 and around a week off and on working to get it done (you could do it in 3 days if you stay at it)
*******there are a couple spots where you can see the paint is a little darker (like on the door) that’s where I ddI some touch up with a spray paint and it’s slightly darker...the camera picks it up way more than you can tell in person. I made the decals out of reflective material (thought it was cool) haha.....this is my play truck / hunting truck / every day driver to keep miles off my 2018 Ram
I did it for two main reasons
1) I wanted to have something that would repel scratches
2) I wanted to test my skills because I want to do a same color job to my 2018
Would I do it again? Absolutely! Was it worth it? IMO absolutely
Hope this helps
