I did the same as MADDOG except I purchased a cheap light bar off of eBay that came with the Ram tow hook brackets and wiring harness. It was only $39.99, new. I wired mine using a factory fog light switch. Now that I know my "set up" works, I will be updating my light bar to a Rigid or higher quality one. The cheap China one looks good but I'm sure moisture will most likely be it's downfall.

exactly. i'm not normally one to jump on the "you should have searched first" bandwagon, but there are literally tons of threads on this already.

I made some custom brackets that relocate the tow hooks outward, plus it doubles as a mount for the 30” curved light bar.

You need a bigger garage.

I know. Already looking for our next house and adding a couple detached garages with 10 foot doors. One for the vehicles and toys and one for the wifey and my hobbies. I cant wait, I'm cramped and I'm tired of cleaning vehicles all the time and hopelessly rearranging my garage like it's actually going to make any difference. Lol.

If you're still looking for a windshield mount lightbar, you should know that they may whistle at the high speeds, and if it's one of your concerns you may check out Z-roadz light bars with noise canceling deflectors. We haven't tested them yet, but they seem to provide better results than rubber window trim:
