Load resistors

I purchased a set of load resistors (50w6ohm) from amazon to put in my truck for my new led turn signal/park light but it still throws a light out notice. Anyone know how to fix this?

what wires did you tap?

I tied them into the ground and middle wire. Did some digging around on the forum and found out that it was actually the outer wire that is for the turn signal.
And I feel dumb for posting this question now lol

nah, its all good!

I assumed that was the one you tapped, but hey, its a 50/50 shot. Black wire, thats easy to figure out......but then theres those other 2!

I had to install a load resistor on both wires on my 2013. If I only did the turn signal wire, it would fix the hyper flash issue but would still say my parking light was out. Maybe the same thing?

possibly. And.....I have seen that on the '13s. Figures......I finally get my '13 projector adapters changed to have a hyperflash fix on them......and Dodge changes the computer to look for resistance on the damn parking lights too. Thanks.......and I have 200 sets of adapters here LOL

is it true the resistors get really hot and can melt plastic and harm the paint? is so any solutions to the problem?
