Evening Ram Fam. I've noticed that my front suspension (stock height) is bottoming out on the frame bumpers pretty much all the time. As far as I know, the springs are original. Should I look at installing a set of spacers, or just longer springs?

Given the age and mileage (15 years/225k miles) I am leaning towards new springs in the front, as well as new leafs in the rear eventually with a rear swaybar. I don't have the cash to look at a full front lift kit that includes new hubs on the front and a new cross-member, though. I'm just looking for an extra inch or two (hey, aren't we all?).

Thanks!

I would go with new springs, avoid spacers as much as you can, if that is the only option then spacers I say are fine ... I too am looking for 3" or 3.5" coils in the front but I can't find anything longer than 2.5 for the front ...

But seriously, go with the springs instead ...

2wd or 4x4 ?
