Hey guys new member here. I'm currently in a '04 quad cab dakota and looking to upgrade. I have two Rams in mind and not quite sure what to offer for them or what to look for. I kinda leaning towards the crew because size and having to put a toddler in the back. Thanks for the Help.

Here are the two in mind.

Both look nice. I'd definitely go with the crew cab if you have a toddler that has to ride in the back. I don't think they are going to take much off those prices. Maybe $1000 or so but thats it.

I'd go with the crew as well. Do some research on local prices in the paper, KBB.com and NADA.com

Get as much info on how each truck is equipped and compare features. Lastly, check with the dealer on what maintenance has been done.

Maybe looking into a leftover would be a better option?

Looking into a left over is a great idea, i have seen at my local dealer ship, 2 leftover models a sport and a bighorn for 30 each.

i agree on the crew cab since you have toddler concerns. Both are nice looking trucks

Crew Cab all the way. Also, as beautiful as a black truck is, they are a whole lot more work to keep up. If you got a wee one, it might be difficult to fit it all in.

Silver, on the other hand, hides things very well.

I find that the crew cab bed is more than ample when needed I just put down tailgate for something bigger like plywood. If the load is really big I take the trailer.
I love the crew adults can sit comfortably and the seat position I use day in day out does not need to be changed.

I have a QC myself. I think there's plenty of room in the back of the Quad for a toddler. My cousins and my brother ride in back all the time when we go out paintballing, no complaints. My uncle rode in the back the whole way from Iowa to Colorado last year and back to Iowa and had no complaints. I like the QC because there is more bed space but if you don't need the extra bed space I'd go for a crew. It is nice to have extra interior room.

Pulled the trigger on the crew. $26250 minus my trade of $5500, OTD $22508. Only thing missing was the owners manual and warranty book which the dealer is going to get for me. I ll try to get some pics up tomorrow.
