looking for 2nd gen parts for a 1st gen

Hey guys, I am from the 1st Gen area, but i have had three 2nd gens, one of which i put $22,000 into after my second tour in Iraq... Anywho i love the 2nd Gen 488 V10 magnum. I have a 1st Gen 2500 but i want a 2nd Gen V10 with transfer and tranny, to put into it. Anyone got a wrecked one or know where to get all the parts??

I see em on my local craigslist all the time. Guys buy the truck, pull the motor and drivetrain out, and swap in 12v cummins with 5spds

Yep gunna say best bet is to find a guy who swapped in a cummins. Those V10s are big ol suckers too...I've never seen one at my junkyard unfortunately. Another good one is wrecked trucks see if owners will let you pull the engine without buying the whole truck.

We had one here in San Antonio 2wd 2500 some time ago 97 ex cab 160k miles. it went for $1500. it was white with some random looking homemade flat bed.

I'm in southern Indiana lol, but yeah I could probably find a trans/transfer case but that's I long haul for just a motor with a lot of mileage lol
