So quick background to my tire experience
1st set was 35x12.5r20 Nitto Terra Grapplers G2 which was very mid at best.
My driving needs are highway, rain, dirt rocks and just about everything off road. For me these tires sucked with the rain in Washington state. I didn't hydroplane but acceleration from a stop or turn would break the tires loose way to often.
2nd set Nitto Ridge Grapplers 37x12.5r20. Best all terrains I've owned hands down. I wanted to buy these again but the two things that give me pause or weight (82lbs/tire) and cost. When I purchased them in 2019 they were just over $400/tire. Right now they retail at $537/tire.
3rd set Nitto Recon Grapplers 37x12.5r20. These were ok. They are lighter than the Ridge Grappler and were cheaper than the Ridge at the time of purchase. My gripe is they have gotten noticably noiser as the thread dept gets near the 4/32's wear.
I've been shopping for months on a new pair of 37's. Considered going to 11.5 wides to save weight and money. The part that I didn't like was the response I got in my research which was the tire would be stretched on a 10" wide rim. I'm a curb hopper and drive over everything. So that was out
Finally found my next set of shoes. BFG KO2's are slashed in price right now and the deal was so good I couldn't pass it up. I've been waiting and waiting for BFG to release KO3's in my size but Discount Tire still doesn't offer them on their site. KO2's have great reviews so I took the plunge to try them out. Right now for one week they are running

I got the additional $80 off signing into my Discount Tire account. I also got another 5% off using my Discount Tire Card. Paid off in 12 months = zero interest.
With Certificates, Tax, and installation I paid less than Ridge Grapplers + Tax.
This is pre covid prices!! Hopefully it helps someone out.
Now to decide if I want the white letters on the outside
