Just to start off..iv never been a a big auto guy. This is my first truck, and the first time iv ever been interested in modding my vertical..

I recently purchased a 2019 ram classic slt. It has a 5.7 hemi. I'm looking for a good sound. A low, mean grumble. It is all stock, and has a single exhaust of the one side, I'd like duals. Probability one off each side. What are the best steps to take? I don't want to spend thousands redoing the whole system from front to back, not yet anyway.

What's the most affordable way to get that sound and look?20200702_224512.jpg

Go to a muffler shop have them run duals the way you want and either do away with the muffler or go with a good high flow muffler. I’m sure there is a kit you could buy to do it yourself but it will probably be more expensive to do it that way.

Most affordable, maybe a Carven exhaust? But I wouldn't do anything more than that, unless you want to do the whole thing. Or do a full cat back now, and get headers later. I'm running ARH long tubes to a CORSA system. :) I started with just the CORSA cat back. That wasn't enough.

Take off the factory suitcase, there are many option’s if you plan doing any towing your option’s change unless you don’t care about the drone and backpressure losses. You can remove the resonators and go with a true dual straight pipe, with or without a muffler, You can do a muffler delete with resonator’s in etc... your choice on how loud you want it to be. I’ve got a cat back Flowmaster American Thunder with true duals inlet/outlet and it absolutely rips. I think I paid 700.00 and put it in myself.

I like the silent single exhaust but i guess I'm the only one.

Anyway your most cost effective dual exhaust is probably going to be take offs from a stock dual exhaust ram that was wrecked or someone put an aftermarket system on and wants their garage space back

That is true on the cheapest and even the stock single sounds good.
