Hi all! I am an owner of a 4th gen ram and I have down some mods to the drivetrain and upsgraded the brakes accordingly. Before I let the balls completely out of this thing I want to stiffen up the suspension and make it safe to exceed 110 mph. I am guessing lowering would probably be the way but I don’t want to lower too much as I live in south Louisiana where water and potholes can sometimes be an issue. Mainly I want a stiff and secure ride where I can unleash the beast and not feel like I’m going to lift takeoff like a plane off the ground.

You'll want to consider including the relocation brackets from either Illicit or Inez in your budget,if you decide to drop it.They bring the rear suspension geometery back into spec.Matt at Moes sells the brackets.

These trucks are expensive to lower correctly & get a good ride out of it. Like Wild One said no matter the kit you buy you will want to also get Illicit or Inez rear control arm brackets, unless you just buy the whole Inez kit. Those brackets correct the rear geometry that gets thrown off when lowering. W/o them the truck will have a high speed wobble. Also get good shocks. The Belltech Street Performers are "ok" but dont last that long.

All & all I have the following:
Belltech 2/4
Bilstein 4600 front shocks
Shorter 2008 Ford F150 front sway bar endlinks
QA1 TS-905 rear shocks
Airlift helper bags(needed to tow after lowering)
Rear Hellwig sway bar & adjustable endlinks
Core upper & lower control arms
Illicit brackets
Spohn adjustable panhard bar

It rides & handles great but like I said, it got expensive fast.
