I just took ownership of my father's 2013 Ram 1500 Express Mega Cab 4x4. I had tried to buy it from him for the past several years, but he just couldn't bring himself to sell it although he couldn't drive it anymore. We think he would be admitting too much that he was going too far downhill, if he sold the truck. So...he would loan it to me or my brother when we needed it and we always did his chores around the yard with his truck too. Recently he passed away and one of the first things mom told me is, "now you can buy dad's truck". Timing was a little off, but it was a way she could deal with his passing. And she knew that dad always wanted me to get that truck.
So...for $21,000 I now own a 2013 Ram 1500 that had 7,500 miles on it. I had put nearly half of those miles on it myself borrowing it for a hunting trip here, a family trip there etc. etc., had rotated the tires and taken it in and paid for its first and second oil change. Most of the other 4000 miles had been put on by my brother running errands for mom and dad and a family trip or two as well.
Not quite the same find as the OP, but I am sure pleased with my new truck. Especially the sentimental bits of reminding me of dad.
Hope you enjoy your new truck.

YouHi Guys, I posted awhile back about buying that "nice" 2017 Laramie for $24,998.00
It DID look good (In Pictures) and everyone here liked it.
Well, one takes a big gamble buying a truck solely off pictures as I found out.
So I get back down to FL, drive over to the lot, and look at the truck.
THIS THING WAS A PIG
Had 3000 more miles than advertised, was FILTHY, drivers seat very worn, scratches
all over body, was rode hard and put up wet every night of it's life
TO TOP THAT OFF, instead of 6000 or so like we talked on phone this POS was NOW going to
cost me right at 10,000 difference and my 9000 mi 2014 express reg cab.
I PASSED IMMEDIATELY...(still working on getting my $500 deposit back, I disputed and pretty sure I will)
So I'm pissed...no crew cab for me...or so I thought
Thursday night I was looking at carfax and THIS pops up at a Ford dealer
2011 1500 Crew Cab Hemi Big Horn 4x4 with 14,200 actual 1 owner miles!
I thought, "yeah, right" after that last fiasco.
I get there, and there sat a basically brand new 2011 Big Horn!
They said some elderly guy bought it new and never drove it
Traded it in on a new Mustang Bullit
THIS TRUCK WAS GARAGE KEPT FROM DAY ONE!
Done in Deep Ruby Red Pearl Metallic, the paint is virtually new on this truck
Original Wrangler tires (feb 2011) still look new no rot no nothing
Underneath, still looks new as well, I could not believe it!
Has the premium cloth seats with console, all other Big Horn equip
He installed a Ram hard tonneau cover, and wheel to wheel side steps
Just a beauty, and EXACTLY what I was looking for with the exact equipment
Yeah, it's a 545RE 5 spd, and has the regular radio but still gets sirius xm and has an MP3
CD in case I want to hear my tunes (110-120 songs per CD)
IMO they had it priced too low for what it was (21,900) I think you throw the book away on this one.
$4900 and my reg cab later, I was driving it home!
Unbelievable find, I'm still looking at it to make sure it exists...LOL
So...I finally DID get the right Ram (for me) at the right price
What do you guys think?
