So when I ordered my 3500 in May, the dealer was unable to add any model of running boards to the order, it would automatically kick it to DRW. After it arrived, I knew I needed a set. I’m old and fat and my wife recently had ACL reconstruction. I decided on the Luverne Grip Step. I liked that they were wide @ 7”, aluminum to minimize corrosion, and they had a wheel-to-wheel option for the Mega Cab. I installed them this weekend and they are very nice. As an added bonus, it appears they will provide some parking lot protection from careless people and their doors. Any vehicle other than something my height should hit the board before contacting my truck.

Props: I had ordered them from Amazon and only the boards arrived, no mounting brackets (they ship separately). I called CS and they said to wait another day or 2 and they may show up. Nada. I called back and they said they could no longer do an exchange. :( They offered a return or a 30% credit. I took the credit as I had seen just the mounting brackets elsewhere. I call Luverne, which is a Curt company, to verify the part I needed …and they shipped me the mounting brackets for free. Now that’s customer service.
