I understand the point you are making..... But you quoted AF, which has a Hemi, which deffers your whole post.... According to the manual you posted, the Hemis call for 89octane......

As matter of fact, I believe everyone in this thread, besides me, has the Hemi.... so why exactly are you throwing around info about the 4-7?

Edit- Lol, well, Ares has a 4-7 too... haha, but the convo in the thread wasn't about our motors... Still good info for folks that do have'em I reckon. I used to put 89-93 in my truck before I found that info out

I HATE my motor. The only thing good about, IMO, is that it sounds great with "any" exhaust setup.... and its pretty reliable if you treat'er right.

I get (uncorrected) 9-9.5 mpgs. Uncorrected meaning I haven't corrected the speedo since the tires went on. Our awd Durango with the Hemi gets 13.5 or so, with the wife driving anyways

That said, the hemi-tick drives me insane...
