Ok I am ordering my wheels and tires this week. From what I read I will be able to fit 35x12.50 general grabber red letters on my 2007 after I install the 2" hell bent steel level. That is, as long as I get aftermarket rims , decided on fuel krank 20x9 -12 maybe -24 offset (I want a good lip). Is it true this won't rub? What is my best bet? I work for general tire so the tires are discounted which is why I chose them, plus I think red letters would look good with a flame red 1500.

Thanks in advance!

You should be ok with those offsets. Im running a 295/70/18 tire(34.6) with 18x9 -12 wheels with a Bilstein shock level. No rub. I would recommend leveling shocks over the spacer.

I wish I had read up on those shocks before I bought the spacer. I'll probably get those so the ride doesn't suffer. They measure almost right at 35". If I do have a problem with fitment, what would I have to do to fix it?

I have 35/12.5/20 Trail Grapplers on my 2008 and I'm levelled 2.5". Aftermarket rims are -10mm offset, 5.14" back spacing. Very very small amount of rubbing at full lock, but the rubbing is only on the mud flaps.

Would -12 mean more or less rubbing? Very helpful thank you

Negative offsets mean less rubbing to an extent. Too much negative offset and you'll rub. Of course wheel width and backspacing considered. Its somewhat overwhelming. Best bet is going by what people have successfully run.

Ok one last question. Does anyone have the part number for the bilstein shocks? Or the best place to get a good price on them? I'm assuming they are sold individually.

I got my best deal for my Bilstein 5100's at autoanything.com . I think it was around 3-400$ for all 4 shocks. Remember when you use those shocks you need to re-use your cups to hold your coils in and it is a PITA trying to take apart the stock shocks to re-use everything. I had to cut the stock coils to get it all apart and buy new ones.

As for your rims you should be ok. The less backspacing/offset just more or less gives you room to fit bigger tires so they don't rub on your steering knuckle. I have 17x8 ATX Slots with 4.5" backspacing(0 offset) and 34" tires and I have no rubbing anywhere and lotsa room.
