So I'm getting this 2015 Tradesman 1500
Has the cheap black plastic bumpers that have seen better days.

I'd love to replace with something fancy but I broke the bank buying it.

Spent as much time as my brain will allow searching here.

It's a black truck so maybe a few coats of Plastidip will look less cheap?
How about textured bedliner?
Is there room behind the bumper to install flush mount Rigid knockoff LED pods? Guessing I'd have to do it where it sits perpendicular to the front like next to to tow hooks.

I've got two holes on the top of the bumper already also so I was thinking a yellow fog in the lower and a Pod/Cube Driving light on the top.

I know. I konw. It's going to be an Amazonmobile and they probably won't last more than a year or two.

I just want to uncheapen (Is that a word?) for minimal cash to make it not nauseating in the meantime.

Thoughts? Warnings? Advice? Public Shaming? I'm all ears.

Thanks
The Count

When I had my bedliner spayed in the shop had pictures of entire rigs that were bedliner. I thought it looked good. Unless you have a use for those lights specifically like backing up to a trailer or something I don't see the reason?

Thanks. I wasn't sure how bright the lights would be and I guess I just wanted it to look not like such a plain work truck more than having a bright light output. Bedliner may look good on just the bumper. Anbody have any pics?

You can use Duplicolor bedliner. Prep includes sanding the bumper, cleaning and applying adhesion promoter.

My 09 ST (base model of the time) bumpers have been bedlined for a good 10 years now. Little scuffed up through the years though. They still clean up pretty good. I'm not sure about the light output on the 15's, but bought some LED's on amazon that work alright with the aftermarket camera. I need to do something about the 21's too though, cause even with the "high def" camera it's pretty bad at night. Check Rockauto.com for bumpers and such, usually cheaper than big sites.

There are tons of videos of people putting the flush mount lights in the bumpers on YT.
