Does this mean the 2/4 kit for the 19 is actually for a 4th gen with smaller coils in the rear and the front can’t be adjusted true

The 2"/4" lowering kit that we have for the 5th gen/2019+ new body style trucks is designed around the 5th gen truck. It comes with the correct diameter coil springs in the rear and adjustable lowering struts for the front. We have a separate kit for the 09-18 trucks, depending on whether it was a 2wd or 4wd. The only thing we don't have for the 5th gens is the 2" rear lowering/leveling coils by themselves. We only offer those for 09-18 models

What’s the largest size tire that will fit on a 2” drop in the front?

Hey guys, just wanted to let everyone know that we just released our 2"/4" lowering kit for the 2019+ Ram 1500 2wd/4wd trucks. The kit utilizes 0"-3" adjustable front struts while the rear consists of 4" drop coils, track bar bracket, sway bar end links & rear shocks. The kit# is K332724 and is available through any Maxtrac Suspension retailer.

When you say 2019+, would that include the 2020 1500s'? I have a 2020 Big Horn Crew Cab Night Edition with a 6'4" bed and the 5.7 Hemi. I haven't been able to find a good 2020 kit anywhere.

Will putting this on my truck void my warrantee for any reason?

Also, can I put this in at home? I worked in auto body shops most of my life, as a painter, but I'm mechanically inclined.

Yes these kits (K332724) will fit 2019-2020 Ram 1500 2wd/4wd. Honestly, the question of whether a modification to a vehicle voids warranties has been something that has been asked for a long time and there has never been a definitive answer. It seems like every dealership or service writer kind of makes it up as they go. I was always told that the dealership would have to prove that the modifications you made to the vehicle were definitively the cause of the issue. That they can't just turn you down or turn your warranty down because you modified your truck but again that is just what we have been told over the years and don't know if that is 100% true. As far as the install goes, this kit is pretty basic but you will need a coil spring compressor as you have to change out the front struts. I'd say that is probably the trickiest part. Hopefully this info helps you and if you have any other questions please let us know. Thank you

just for example, I lifted my 2015 and my 2019 Classic with Maxtrac Suspension, I have never been questioned whatsoever on any warranty part. Id say go for it, enjoy your truck the way you want, now if you were doing engine or transmission, then Id understand, but many make lifting or lowering priority on their truck customization.

I saw the 5th gen truck in their booth at SEMA, and it looked great!!

Can this be used for a 3/5 drop? Maybe by taking a coil of the rear spring?

Does anyone know if there is a adjustable upper control arm kit for 2020 ram 1500 (new style)? I put the 2/4" MaxTrac kit on and my camber is a little off after alignment. Would like to get it back to spec.

How much clearance should there be from the front tire to the wheel well. I think the shop
That installed my kit used the wrong notch for the front strut. I am scraping the plastic piece under the front bumper all over the place. Even on things where a 2” drop should not rub. Also the back is higher than the front which makes me think the front is too low.

Think I found it. They put it on the 6th notch which would be 3” drop on 19+. *********
