Does MDS work straight off engine load and RPM or does the speedometer reading have a role also?
Reason for question: 2012 Hemi with BD tuner running on 35's. I have the tire size set to 33.3"s which makes my dash speedo correct to GPS speed. Inputing 35" tires makes the Dash speed +3mph. Problem is, to me, the truck "feels" like it is using MDS mode more often when the tuner is set to 35"s vs 33"s.
I did a ton of searches with no answers.
