Mega Cab rear seat in Crew?

Hey everyone I did a search and came up with nothing I even googled it!? Anyway I was kicking around the idea of a mega cab rear bench with the reclining feature in place of my 2500 crew cab rear bench. I really like the recline feature and dont really use the current under seat storage or the lay flat flooring. Has anyone converted or looked into it? I would think that the seats folding forward may not work unless I move the front seats up all the way. I guess I could also wait for the 19's to come out and possibly one of their new reclining seats may fit better. Let me know your thoughts please.

The base of the seat is the same size as a Crew Cab. You wont be able to use the recline function though, it would hit the back of the cab almost instantly.

I think in one of the videos I watched , it showed the new back seat slide forward a little then reclined?

Thats what the mega rear seat appears to do as well but I dont have one so cant verify!! LOL!

The rear bench in my mega does not slide forward and neither do the 2018s I've been looking at. Works the same as the front seats. The seat reclines into the 8 ish inches of cab behind the seat.

The new 2019 crew cabs have a reclining seat that slides forward.

Maybe you could move the seat mounts forward to open space behind the seats, but that's going to take away from leg room.
