Yongsan was arguably my best assignment and I was lucky enough to have mostly good ones. Being in the heart of Seoul and having Itaewon (foreign district) just outside the gate was really nice.

U.S. Army from 1981-1988. I was a 13B Cannon Crewman, AKA Field Artillery.
I first served in the Wyoming ARNG from 1981 thru 1984 with the 300th FA battalion. I then went active duty from 1985 thru 1988 and was first attached to the 1/10th FA battalion with the 3rd Infantry Division in Schweinfurt Germany. My last duty station was in Ft. Stewart Georgia with the 24th Infantry Division and was with the 2/35th FA battalion. During my active-duty status I spent my time as a unit armorer and was on a special weapons PRP team working with artillery nukes. Big Bada Boom!
