Mirror Upgrade

Can anyone tell me if a pair of towing mirrors from a 2013 Ram 1500 would be functional (Plug and Play) on a 2012 Ram 1500? Both trucks are the Laramie trim package.

I dont believe anyone has tried that, the 13+ models have the ambient temp sensor in the driver side mirror, your 12 doesnt have it there, i dont know if this is something you can just leave unplugged and be good, aside from that you will likely need to swap door modules and get the computer reflashed if you have power fold mirrors, so if your looking to just trade with your buddys 13 your mirrors will cause him to have a check engine light do to that sensor missing, your best bet would be to go on 1aauto and find a set of tow mirrors with the exact options your mirrors have and all will be good
