I have a 2012 RAM 1500 4x4 Longhorn, I have started having issues with the head unit in my truck and am looking to upgrade it to a Tesla style media unit. I have found one on Amazon that looks like what I'm looking for, I'm curious if anyone has added one to your RAM AINAVITO - 13.1" 2K Android 13 Car Stereo or has any knowledge of these?

If you buy something, remember that it is only as good as the after purchase service. I highly recommend going to someplace like Crutchfield who will be there for the inevitable questions, plus you work with a real live advisor who makes sure you get everything you need, and often already available with harnesses wired together. Replacement if a head unit can be tricky and I assume you will end up with at least XM, which needs a rooftop antenna. I highly recommend ignoring the almost certain integrated GPS and instead use your phone's internal maps because your phone updates all the time but internal maps generally require a purchased update data stuck that is already out of date when it (if it) becomes available.

Thanks for the reply! I agree on this I have always used Crutchfield for other replacements, but they don't have any replacements like this that replaces the bezel so a "Tesla Style" head unit can be added (as I get older, I would like to have the larger screen). I see there are options for the 2013 but the 2012 does not have many.
