I need to replace the interior drivers side door panel. I have the Laramie trim with folding side mirrors. I have access to a pre-owned door panel for significantly cheaper than the OEM replacement. It's nearly an exact replacement to what I have, with one notable caveat. It does not have the button to collapse the mirrors. It has the power mirror controls, just not the single collapse button like my current one does. I can swap out the plate with the buttons with my current one to maintain the collapse button, but does anyone know if the interior wiring is the same for both door panels? Even if the used truck didn't have the collapsible mirror feature, would the wiring for it still be there? I dont want to lose the ability to collapse.

Thanks!

The mirror connects directly to the door module. You will have to swap the door module to the new door, and you 'should' be ok.
