DS power folding mirror stopped working

On my 1500 Longhorn, the passenger side mirror folds, but driver side just twitches...it does not fold. Because I see slight movement when I press the button, I think it has power. Some other posts said to fold in the passenger side and then manually fold the driver side mirror. Here's the thing though, my driver side mirror will not budge. I tried a good amount of pressure (trying not to break it) and there is solid resistance. Its wiggles until I fold the passenger side out, then there is no more wiggle on the driver side.

Anyone have any idea what is causing this or how to repair it?

Most likely, Broken plastic gear inside the folding mechanism. Fix it or replace it. Replacing it far easier than the repair
