I just bought some alpharex pro series 2019 style headlights and they include an extra wire that I can’t seem to figure out what it’s for. Not the DRL harness, that much I get. I can’t seem to get these lights working and apparently alpharex is gone from corona.

anyone else have these or have some guidance? Thank you!

It’s the single pin black adapter off the main adapter. Docs don’t show it from alpharex and no idea what it’s for.

I'm not really sure. Thats new. I'm going to ask some questions that may seem obvious or not.
I'm trying to figure out what the connector with the yellow/brown/black wires are for, then maybe figure out what the single connector is for.

When you installed them what worked and what didn't?

When you installed them did you connect the connector that contains the low/high beams to the connector with the white/blue/black connector?

Is there any other harness included besides the drl harness?

Do you have oem projectors?

Turns out it is just extra? I talked to alpharex (via fb messenger of all things - that was the only way I could get a hold of them). It appears it’s related to DRL and is just put on every light so you can wire from either side.

turns out I was wiring them wrong too because none of their instructions cover the new lights so things weren’t clear but I did manage to finally sort it all out. All is working now, sharp looking headlights. Only thing I dont like is it appears impossible to upgrade to HID.

Yeah for whatever reason fb messenger is the easiest way to contact them.

They turned out nice, now I just need to figure out if I can shove a hid bulb in there somehow. Since its a single projector with a shutter I may be out of luck

The back looks the same as mine, the projector shouldn't be any bigger than what comes in the 2019 dual projectors. The Innovited hid's fit inside without issue. You can always contact alpharex again and order the predrilled dust covers so that way you don't have to worry about messing yours up. Since you just ordered yours they may give them to you for free otherwise it $10 shipped
