Before I Installed My Mods My Truck Had
Decent Power Nothing Great But Had Power

I Installed A VR CAI
Billet Catch Can
And A 180 Degree T-Stat

Prior To Mods Install

I Installed A 14" Magnaflow

Truck Was Running Fine Untill I Installed
Mods The Truck Has Lost Power And Alot Of it
Not Sure Why Not Sure If My Installation Is Incorrect
Or What Is It But This Power Loss Is Bad
I Tryed Disconnecting The Battery For 2 Hours Still Nothing
I Checked The Install Of Everything Looks Good
I Can't Figure Out What's Going On

Any Body Have Any Ideas???

Truck Was Ok Untill t-Stat Was Installed
But Makes No Sence Why Truck Would Loss Power From A
Colder T-Stat

I Drove The Truck Tonight
60 Degrees Outside
And It's Just Not Moving No Where Near What It Used To Be

HELP???

Chech your catch can connections. If you have a vacuum leak your truck could run like crap.

sounds like either something is unplugged which should throw a code or like said check your catchcan might be sucking air somewhere also you do know when you disconnect the battery like that the ecm has to relearn plus the trans has to relearn which takes about 300 miles if you don't find anything obvious with the connections just drive it give it about 300 miles but you should feel it getting better along the way as the ecm makes adjustments with the mods in my sig the dealer did a reflash update on my truck and it ran like chit for a while until everything relearned

That suks to hear that your having issue i would return back to stock drive it around to see what happens and if everything runs fine install mods back one by one intake first drive see whay happens if it check out good then install catch can etc...

You can leave muffler installed

That is what i would do if not take it back to dealers as a last option

Something is not adding up here. there's no way you've lost power with your mods. not granted you might have lost a little Down low TQ because of opening up the exhaust with the Y pipe and Magnaflow. I think your feeling the loss of TQ down low but you either can't feel or haven't gone out romping on your truck to really feel the gains up top. find a buddy at work or someone you are friends with and see if he wants to line them up if his is stock. I promise you will out run a factory truck

I agree with both of these. If everything is put on right you shouldn't have a problem. If you drive the :poop: out of it and say there is no power, I would take the mods back off and install one at a time.
