Believe this is the exact same one the paint shop ordered for me and turned out great. I have had 0 issues and love it.c2ba08f9dc39c359cbdbec71f54324d4.jpg

I don’t know if that’s the same hood because the original poster said the one he’s looking at requires hood pins and I don’t see any in yours, which Looks much better in my personal opinion.

No more hood shocks or springs. That is a key part as they will stress the hood and break it. Remember, with these parts, good means lots of money. Cheap means lots of work to get to fit.

That is a NICE looking Ram!!! Love the blue.

Any chance you can get the actual company confirmed with the body shop? The one I was considering says it needs hood pins?
Thanks in advance...

I'm thinking an OEM would be less grief and not much difference cost wise.JMHO.

How much would a OEM hood be? I haven't looked yet figuring that it would be a lot higher than a good aftermarket one.

When I had a custom 77 Corvette where I did most of the work, including interior, suspension, stinger hood, lambo doors, I didn't need hood pins and I had that Corvette past 100+ mph many times... everything I did to it over the years is on this website worth a look:

I think they are roughly a grand here in Canada + paint. so should be a lot less in the States.Everything is cheaper down there.

I decided against getting the carbon fiber hood as I really don't want to put ugly hood pins on there.
