Moes throttle body

Got a question that I'm not sure about but thought I read and can't find now.....
Hopefully Matt or someone else can chime in that knows.

On the ported throttle bodies, they just machine the stock units right? Just curious if it would be anything that stands out to a smog guy or Inspection Ref to flag a truck in Comyfornia from getting passed.....

Depending on the answer I thought I have also read that I can send my stocker in and have it milled down to 87mm and have it retain the stock appearance and no one be the wiser

You'd have to get out a measuring device to tell the difference. The ones from Moe's are just modified stock units. They look identical.
