Well like it says I have moisture in my passenger side headlamp. I have a HID kit which if you have one you know that you have to put a hole in the dust cover on the back of the headlamp. Now my question is, is there moisture because of that hole? My thought is, no because I have had them for months and months now and it just became an issue. Now I am wondering if the seal between the lens and the housing failed. If so, should be a warranty issue. Will it be covered now that I have put a hole in the dust cover for the HIDs? Is the dealer going to say it is because of the HID kit? Anyone know if it is possble to just buy the dust cover so that I can maybe redrill the hole, possibly a bit smaller to provide a better seal?

I'm sure the dealer would cover it if you could find a new dust cap, but I doubt they'll help you having a 1" hole drilled in the back of your housing. Only thing I can think of is try to find a cheap/damaged headlight off ebay and grab the dust cap from it.

Your other option would be take some clear silicone and smear it all around the edge of the housing if you want to try and fix it yourself.

Send JJ a pm. He might have an extra dust cap that he'd sell you.
