Well the trucks needed new brakes, so I sprang for dimpled and slotted rotors.

Brake Rotors Brake Discs Drilled Slotted Rotors

With a discount, it was a little more than $500, with free brake pads and a lifetime warranty from warping and cracks... though I don't know how these godzilla-looking-mothers could possibly warp.

These things are massive and weigh 40 lbs a piece! :********:

Paper towel roll for effect, so you can see how big they really are!

Glad I found this post.
A few questions, was that price for all 4 corners I assume so because I see three rotors in the one pic.
What is the diameter of those compared to the stock ones and if they are a larger diameter, do you need to change calipers?

The reason I ask, well obviously I'm gonna be looking at pads and rotors likely by spring and I've started looking around.

Those are stock replacement rotors that have been machined.:licklips:

Yeah, they kinda have to be that massive for HD trucks. Good find, Trup!

pads and slotted rotors are a significant upgrade for sure. i had HAWK Pads w/ DBS Slotted Rotors on my 08' Mazda Speed3. You should notice a significant improvement in Bite and reduced fade. Stainless Lines are also a huge upgrade !

braking is a mod that is frequently forgotten about, but so important especially with more power and rolling mass. Great Choice !!!!
