Ive been eyeing these since late summer. Ill order when final production ships out.

The TRS website still says the same.... that they are expected to ship from morimoto at the end of December.

I still hope that’s true

I don't think they have updated yet. Retro Shop shows the LATE JANUARY 2019 / EARLY FEBRUARY 2019 for the ship date.

Damn that really sucks for the guys that preordered them

I'd be chopping at the bit if Morimoto had my $1200 plus and all I had to show for it was sorry guys the Ford guys are having issues.

Yep blows for you guys that ordered them. I’ve preordered stuff from TRS in the past and always sees like the eta constantly changes.. which isn’t a big deal when your talking a couple hundred dollars I don’t mind being patient but $1200 not so much. I just hope they’re worth the wait.

If they took pre-order money and used it to fund production, while some may not like it, it is a common business practice for a custom built part. However, if they took your money and cannot document that it was spent on production and it was spent on something else (such as R&D, business or personal expense, etc), that comes under "intent to defraud" in most states. I'm sure this will have a happy ending (such as delivery or a refund), but if not...

I am not too worried at this point, I would rather they work out any and all issues or bugs and be delayed because of that. If they had/have any issues with the F150 lights I'm sure they don't want to run into the same with the Ram lights. Or any other light, either. If you go on some of the F150 forums and Corvette forums, guys that bought XB headlights love them, they say worth the wait.
I'm sure when the Ram lights hit customers hands, guys will be very happy and saying the same.

I think it's safe to say we all agree with you that as a customer we want the product right the first time but not to the tune of holding customer money while they'll figure out their product.

Pretty sure TRS only hits your account once they have the items in hand. Thats how they handled the fog light presale.

I am starting to get the itch finally.

I picked up a set of XB LED fog lights and a few other odds and ends to make these headlights look better on the front of my truck. I was worried about my chrome not looking right with the black housing so I got a color matched grill and bug deflector.

Thinking of having the XB headlights and fogs painted to match if I still don't like the black look.

Now am just waiting on the headlights to arrive.
