Mine had little grooves that the assembly slid in to. They almost made a snapping sound when they were in correctly.

We’ll shoot I was hoping that might be the issue, something easy to resolve.

So I know my fogs are the old horizontal style but this still applies. A few people have talked about what they did with the resistors but no one has actually taken any pics. I did tonight when I did my install. The drop down piece of frame that I believe is the snow plow mount is a great place to put them. I strung a 5” hose clamp around them and tightened it down. Zip ties would probably be ok because I let the fogs stay on for about a half hour and I (nervously) felt the resistors to see how hot they were. They were hot to the touch but wouldn’t burn you, so these probably wouldn’t melt through a zip tie. However, hose clamps are a fool proof method. I also took a few extra minutes and zip tied the wires coming out to make sure that they couldn’t make contact with the resistor housing and melt. I only took a pic of one side, the other side is the reverse obviously. The photos below are of the passenger side, the resistors are sitting on the back of the piece of frame facing rear wards towards the back of the truck.

Same here, mine sit funny behind the BigHorn bumper. they sit about 1/2 inch off the bumper and off center.

Now there's a thought. Of the people who have had trouble and those who have not, what bumper do you have? The one piece or the two piece?

My solution cost me 14 bucks for stainless hardware and a piece of 4X3 aluminum angle cut to 5.5" length. Mounted on the rear of the bumper posts.IMG_20180321_160836.jpgIMG_20180321_144620.jpgIMG_20180321_143856.jpg

I do find the lights don't sit as flush as I'd like on my chrome bumpers and I feel it's costing me some light as the projectors are lighting lines on the bumper. I may try and grind the plastic mount faces where it mounts to the truck a bit to see if that gets it tighter
