Can't seem to figure out why only the passenger side comes on. The driver side will flicker then stay off when I turn them on. I tested the resisters and fog lights and they are fine... So confused.

Any ideas on what could be happening?

being you have a '15, even the fog light are picky. If they both work when the truck is not running, but not when the truck is running I'm guessing it's the resistors. What's the resistor read? It should be somewhere between 6-8 ohms also make sure none of the wires are touching ground.

They only turn on when truck is running, but only the passenger side. 8ohms on resisters.

They don't turn on if you turn the ignition to "Run" without starting the engine? Did you measure the resistors with a meter?
You might want to try swapping the resistors and then the fogs to see if the problem follows one or the other.

Remove the resistors from both sides and plug them in directly and see if it works.

I didn’t need them on my 2017.

I doubt it will work on a '15. I thought the same thing when I put in my LEDs. They'll work with the ignition on until you start the engine.

If the resistor(s) are bad, I use the anti-flicker modules from Diode Dynamics on the vertical fogs with no issues.

Or you can change the fog light type with AlfaOBD

Won’t hurt to try, all it takes is 5 min of his time.

Yup changing to LED is best because it eliminates PWM as well

Did all this already. Resisters and fog lights good after swap. Ruled that out. Problem still persists.

<scratches head> ..hhmmm
I'd say try plugging some halogen bulbs in to see it does the same thing? If so may be a truck wiring issue??
You may have to go the AlfaOBD route..

Halogens work. So I troubleshot everything and confirmed the following:
Resisters- good
For Less - good
OEM wireing- good

I will try the ALPHAOBD method.

Should I run the anti-flickers with the morimoto resisters too? There are currently 2 40 watt resisters per fog light. Do I just add the diode dynamics antiflicker modules to it? The resisters are not bad or seem to be the issue because I have tested them on the working side of the truck. Thoughts?

If you use AlfaOBD you don’t need resistors, in fact once set to LED the extra resistance will cause a code

Will try that. I won't fry the factory fog light wires by going the alphaOBD route, will I? I know with resisters they run hot.

Mine did that too. I run them without the resistor and they work perfect now

I use just the DD anti-flicker modules(no resistors), I've been using them since before AlfaOBD was available.
As stated above, try using AlfaOBD to change them, you can do it for all the lights on your truck. No need for resistors or modules...less to go wrong.
Report back if AlfaOBD corrects the issue for you.

Good to know, probably going to switch to the Modifystreet '19 headlights with LEDs, have heard real good feedback about them
