Motor swap 94 to 98

New here to the forum. I have a question, and there are very conflicting answers. I have a wrecked 10/93 1500 ram and want to swap the motor to my 98. I know the sensors will have to be changed. Some say it will not swap others do, both are 5.2s.

Yeah, it'll swap just fine. Sensors will need to be used from the 98, and the injectors might need to be swapped (I don't remember when they changed connector design.

I think the EGR valve was eliminated in 97. Just use all the 98 bolt ins and ons. Leave the EGR on with no connection or come up with a block off plate.
